Sample Menus Dinner Menu Four

Starters

Macaroni in a cheese sauce with garlic bread (v)

Black pudding with wholegrain mustard mash and onion gravy

Beef tomato and mozzarella salad with a red onion and basil dressing (v)

Chilled melon and kiwi fruit platter with mango and grapes (v)

Cliff’s own chicken liver pate with orange salad served with garlic bread

Cream of asparagus soup (v)

Scotch broth

Main Courses

Beef and mushroom casserole with a puff pastry lid

Oven roasted lamb joint complimented with a redcurrant and rosemary sauce

Thai style fishcakes with a sweet chilli dipping sauce

Cheese filled raviolis in a garlic and basil sauce served with Ciabatta wedge

Buttered mixed garden vegetables, new boiled and deep fried potatoes in almond crumbs

As an alternative to your main course we are offering a freshly prepared salad of tuna, cheese, ham, beef or turkey which you can order with your food service assistant

Lemon meringue pie with vanilla ice-cream

Blackcurrant cheesecake with whipped cream
