At Choice Hotels, our aim going forward is to keep both guest and employee safety as our number one priority. Additional rules and procedures have been implemented to ensure we can all return to work and travel safely. Our rules and procedures aim to follow government and health board advice. Please report illness/Covid-19 symptoms including fever, persistent cough, loss of smell and taste to Reception immediately. Guests are also required to wear a mask at all times unless seated to eat or drink.
COVID-19 VIRUS SYMPTOMS: If during your stay you develop any symptoms associated with the COVID-19 virus, including fever, persistent cough, shortness of breath, loss of taste/ smell, you must immediately inform Reception and return home if you reasonably can, while taking care to avoid interaction with other guests and staff. If you cannot return home immediately then you must self-isolate in your bedroom to minimise the risk of transmission and request a test from NHS 111. You should make arrangements to return home as soon as possible. Guests should follow Government guidance on dealing with possible or confirmed coronavirus (COVID-19) infection.

SAFE CHECK-IN AREA: Please do NOT queue in the Reception/ foyer area. If there is another guest at the Reception desk, you will be directed to a check-in area. Here, you will be given room key/card, registration card and hotel information. If you have booked an All Inclusive package you will also be given a wristband which you should put on as soon as possible and wear for the duration of your stay. Registration cards must be completed and left at Reception as soon as possible.
RECEPTION: Please only visit Reception if essential and you are able to maintain a safe distance from others. Most reservations will have been pre-paid, however, if there is a balance to pay at the hotel please visit Reception during your stay adhering to social distancing guidelines. From 8 August you must wear a face covering in Reception and other public areas.

CLIFFS HOTEL LEISURE CENTRE: The gymnasium, sauna and bar remain closed until further notice. The Swimming Pool is open daily from 10am-6pm Monday-Thursday; 10am-7:30pm Fri-Sun. The hotel management reserve the right to amend opening hours. 30 minute sessions must be booked at Leisure Reception. Ladders, handrails and pushplates will be sanitised after each session. No more than 7 guests may use the pool at any one time unless all are members of the same social bubble. Guests should change in their bedroom. Towels are available poolside. CLAREMONT HOTEL LEISURE CENTRE: The sauna remains closed until further notice. At weekends the Swimming Pool is open from 3pm-6pm on Friday and 10am-6pm on Saturday. During midweeks the Swimming Pool is closed (when children are resident during school holiday periods, the pool may be available on one or more midweek days). The management reserve the right to amend opening hours. When open, 30 minute sessions must be booked in advance. Ladders, handrails and pushplates with be sanitised after each session. No more than 5 guests may use the pool at any one time unless all are members of the same household or support bubble and in accordance with the "Rule of 6". Separate households should observe social distancing. Guests should change in their bedroom. The changing room is only available by arrangement for guests with special needs or disabilities.
